WHERE SHE GONE? Well, it's time to sign off and get ready for my new role as mum to baby number two. Where did that time go?! Although a lot of my thoughts and feelings have been going towards my family and welcoming our new addition, a lot of thought and creative passion has been going into the launch of Project Wøman next year and with that, what am I communicating as a woman that I want to shine through?
Even as I head towards new life and birth, I understand I need to go through a death of everything I believe I am so I can create a fulfilling and powerful future. As I've been gifted with more time, I've been sitting with the masculine and feminine, thinking about what it is to be a woman, what do I want next? All of these thoughts and therefore energy zinging through me........ And It dawned on me, these emotions and the fear for Project Wøman I experienced by not doing, resting and basically saying a big fat no to everything were actually me covering up the fear of giving birth (WTF!!!). I realised my miscommunication, acknowledged how I was allowing the past to create my future (Rafferty was born by emergency c-section which I really don't want a repeat of) and have been letting those emotions flush through with some deep meditation, gentle movement and an amazing acupuncturist (please message me if you would like his details for supporting fertility and pregnancy as he only works on a recommendation basis). The dynamic way I usually move isn't serving me right now and so it's time to stop and listen to what I really need - REST.
What is it I want to communicate with you? Our bodies are fucking awesome my wise and wonderful women. Let's reveal our Sovereignty to the world by realising and understanding the powerful communicators we are by creating an empowering relationship with our bodies for 2020 by moving from the inside out. But most importantly, let's ENJOY our bodies! Lets bring the fun back to our movement by removing the goals and expectations. Let's move as the beautiful, creative, gracious beings we uniquely are.

COMMUNICATION EVOLUTION
My communication with my body has had to evolve during pregnancy to support the mental, physical and emotional energy I need to get me through each day, otherwise I’m a wreck. I have to admit to myself that what I’m doing is enough and to stop thinking I have to do more (who feels that one?)! I’ve reduced my movement sessions to 20-30 minutes max, increasing my breathing/meditation practice, as well as my walking. I won’t lie, I feel the frustration of not doing what I’m used to. To feel confined in my body that I usually give a lot of space too explore. But if I want to maintain the loving relationship I’ve created with my body, I’ve got to listen and communicate from a place of clarity and honesty. What’s your body saying this morning?

Inspiration from an external source should get you curious with your own body, to explore your perceived boundaries and stretch them outwards to increase your own confidence and raise your physical communication with the world. Are you inspired by your body?
Do you move your body for fun?
Is your body a happy place to be?
Can you translate your emotions into the messages your body is trying to communicate? Your body is THE most amazing body ever created, because it’s yours.
And THIS is what I’m passionate about; getting people excited by their bodies, to understand their own language and how to communicate it with power and confidence to the world and have a bloody good time doing it. COMMUNICATION INSPIRATION
My environment is always inspiring me; from the people that I choose to move with, to the sounds that surround me.
But the ground, the beautiful earth we walk on every day (and most of the time without realising), now this is a relationship that offers a whole other dimension of magic and power. The ground always inspires me to rise up. Understanding your relationship to the earth and how you interact with it allows you to see how you’re reacting to life. What does the earth feel like to you?

COMMUNICATION IN MOTION Movement requires inspiration, especially when you’ve numbed out from your natural responses by moving in a controlled and socially acceptable manner. Allowing my body to speak has been one of the most empowering tools I’ve learned in life as it made me realise what I’m capable of, how strong I am and what I can achieve.
Our verbal skills are a small part of our communication, and when spoken in conjunction with clear physical communication you create a confidence and power that supports you to achieve your goals and reach for the stars! HEALTHY COMMUNICATION I had a fascinating conversation with a woman who runs HR at a corporate company in London regarding burnout today. A woman has the capacity to achieve her personal greatness every day. To run her health, family, work and social life as she sees fit. So why are we experiencing such high rates of mental, physical and emotional dis-ease?
Because we’ve made communication with our bodies an inconvenience. We’ve put our health in the hands of others that don’t understand our individual needs. We’ve effectively become disinterested with ourselves and with that have come away from a harmonious relationship which sets the tone for every other relationship in our lives. But we can rebuild.

VALIDATING A WOMANS INTUITION Acknowledging my power has not come from how many hours I clocked up in the office, how clean my house is or how much I can squeeze into a day. Acknowledging my hormonal patterns within my menstrual cycle has enabled me to see how the above were emotional reactions to my nervous system and how these actions were draining me and making me less of the woman I wanted to be. Simple and easy steps taken to achieve equilibrium in mind body and soul by creating a tailored movement menu for my menstrual cycle has given me more time to enjoy the things I love doing for me. There is a magic occurring underneath your skin as you read this. MOVING OUT OF THE MOAN Waking up first thing in the morning to a movement practice in-line with my cycle is an emotional reaction to my needs that I have cultivated (every move you make is driven by your emotions, even down to that coffee you grab on the way to work). I have many tools in my kit that I use, from kickboxing to yoga and deep meditation when I’m in the depths of menstruation. This approach has enabled me to move out of the moan, you know that emotion that hits you first thing when you wake? When you contemplate everything you need to do and all you want to do is hide under the duvet 😉
I offer this movement approach 1-2-1, in intimate immersions in a beautiful countryside setting, workshops and public speaking.

How wonderful would it be if young women were educated on honing their inspiration towards the amazing body they already have? Channelling their attention and focus towards creating a successful relationship with themselves, they would: Realise what they’re body was made of and enjoy the plethora of physical activities that could support their unique expression. Understand that by moving with their menstrual cycle they could increase their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing as well as productivity. See their emotions for what they truly are and not be overwhelmed by them, decreasing anxiety, stress and self sabotaging habits. Show up to life with a confidence and power that would take them where they were destined to go.
By understanding our bodies, we create a relationship that sets a president for every relationship we forge throughout our lives. The way we speak and communicate to ourselves is a reflection of how we relate to others and why life responds to us the way it does.
